Projects entail conceptualization and implementation of robust IT specific infrastructure
projects being undertaken by Punjab Infotech. In addition various e-governance projects
are also covered.
People :
To ensure availability of skilled human resources, implementation of skill development
programmes for the youth of Punjab are being undertaken by Punjab Infotech in coordination
with other State departments. Additionally, industry-academia linkages are being
strengthened by organizing various workshops.
Policy :
Punjab Infotech has been instrumental in notification of the Industrial Policy 2009
with special focus on incentives for the IT and Knowledge industry
